Pack Rotating Unit

A unit that applies a rotation of 90 degrees to the product around a vertical axis is defined as a pack rotation unit.

Given Pulsar Engineering’s wide experience and where not explicitly expressed, from now on reference is made to pack rotating units with fixed roller.

The pack rotating unit is typically used in the following contexts:

- at the outfeed of film wrappers to orientate the product, with prevalently transversal development, aligning the longer side with the direction of travel of the conveyor;

- in front of handling machines to allow correct orientation of the pack before it enters the handling machine itself;

- to restore the correct orientation of the pack along the conveyor at the outfeed of the handling machine.
