The combined pack rotating unit rotates the product of 180° taking advantage of the different speed of the two belts (see pack rotating unit with two belts) and of the resistance of the product against the fixed roller.
The pack rotating unit is typically used on film wrapper lines to:
- turn the product exiting from the wrapper by 180 degrees;
- to give the product the correct upstream and/or downstream orientation
from handling machines.
