Pulsar Engineering created this closed ring to meet Speroni’s requirements involving the possibility of eliminating manual loading/unloading of the pallets from the line around workstations.
The plant is made up of 4 distinct conveyor tracks: the straight tracks were realised with C09 0P series components to which a special heavy load roller conveyor was applied in the place of the table top chain.
There can be accumulation on this chain, in fact pallets rest on external rollers which are geared on internal rollers. Consequently there is almost no friction at all between the moving chain and the still pallet.
Pallet stop units [PU 0800/2 00], stop and locate stations and lifting units have been studied and applied to the C09 0P straight tracks where the workstations are.
